Vintage Paolo Soleri ceramic plaster-cast windbell, ceramic clapper, brass fin and brass chain. Wonderful patina consistent with age.
Plaster cast bells have a smoother texture and do not have impressions as the silt bells do, but have a broader surface for complex and rich carvings.
Ceramic bell 3.25" x 4" - length from top of bell to bottom of fin approximately 10"
Paolo Soleri (1919-2013), founder of Arcosanti
Through his work as an architect, urban designer, artist, craftsman, and philosopher, Paolo Soleri explored the countless possibilities of human aspiration.
